DT SWISS - RATCHET DF

An anti-pedal kickback system simplified to the max.

The Ratchet DF kit is now available as an upgrade to tune all classic DT Swiss Ratchet and Ratchet LN hubs. The fact that you can upgrade a hub that is nearly 30 years old with modern technology is a testament to the durability of these hubs.

This expands the use of DF technology to more riders, as it is no longer limited to our high-engagement DEG hubs. However, it does not apply to the weight-optimized Ratchet EXP and EXP OS systems, where one of the ratchets is integrated with the ring nut.

The Ratchet DF kit also offers the freedom to choose between a classic freewheel system with a 0° setup option and a 14° setup option by simply switching the inner and outer positions of the ratchets.

The upgrade kit features a 54-tooth ratchet and is also approved for use on e-bikes.
